The OVICX Q2S is the ideal solution if you’re looking for a no none sense treadmill that is compact and foldable. And if you are a little short on space, the small footprint of this machine makes it an option worth considering.
It comes with a wide running surface, has an easy-to-read monitor, and is quiet while in use.
OVICX treadmills are designed for home use and allow you to keep fit in the comfort of your home. Home gyms are a growing trend in this busy world we live in. Mainly due to our other commitments.
But the option to workout at any time of the day in your own home, without any distractions, can be highly beneficial and help you maintain a healthy lifestyle and improve your fitness levels.
Whatever your reason, the OVICX Q2S delivers and will not let you down.
If you like simplicity then you’ll like the LED monitor. It’s not like other treadmill dashboards that make things more difficult for the user. Instead, it comes with an easy-to-use LED monitor that does exactly what you need it to do.
This includes tracking the relevant information to maximise your workouts such as speed, distance, heart rate, and calories burnt. You can view this data in real-time, helping you to choose the best workout intensity.
Changing your workout setting is made easy with the soft-touch navigation buttons, while the smart speed control system allows you to change your speed on the go. This means you can switch from full speed to walking pace, then back up to full speed with a tap on the LED display.
Having the option to mix up your running speed can be beneficial. It is a technique/form of exercise, called interval training that can produce better results.
What is interval training?
Interval training is not complicated and is simply alternating short bursts of roughly 30 seconds of intense activity, such as running at top speed on the treadmill. Then reduce the intensity for 1 or 2 minutes. In this instance, you would walk or jog. By repeating this process
The Benefits of Interval Training Include:
Another thing about interval training I’d like to mention is that it does not matter what level of runner you are. Whether you are a novice or seasoned professional, the benefits are there, for all to enjoy.
You can burn more calories: Increasing the intensity of your workout by only a few minutes at a time can help you burn more calories. Great, if your primary focus is to lose weight.
Time Efficiency: One of the main reasons people stay away from exercise is time. Often with our hectic lifestyles, we believe that there’s no time to fit in an effective workout routine.
But with interval training, you can complete your workouts in less time than you would do a regular cardiovascular workout.
So, instead of doing a 40-minute run, you can do a 12-20 minute session of interval training and get the same benefits as you would have to do the normal 40 minutes. Not a bad idea if you’re in a rush all the time.
Your cardiovascular fitness will also improve, reducing the risk of heart disease and other illnesses.
Reduce Boredom: The treadmill offers a convenient and effective form of exercise, but the truth is, it can become a bit boring after a while.
But you can help keep that boredom at bay by changing up your speeds for a short interval and adding variety to your running schedule.
Back To The Q2S
One of the features this treadmill lacks is programmes. Not an issue if you can see the benefits of interval training above but for some, this may be a put-off.
The QS2 does come with the ability to connect to apps such as the FitShow app, which allows you to mix it up a bit. You can connect the treadmill using its Bluetooth connectivity.
The treadmill comes with a 3hp motor that produces a max speed of 14kph and is equipped with sonic shielding. This means you don’t have to worry about waking up the neighbours or the kids.
While the treadmill may seem small, the extra-wide, nearly 43cm running surface allows you to run freely without worrying about falling over due to foot placement.
